Dr. Day is a wife and mother of adult girls. When not taking care of her family and pets, she enjoys sewing, crocheting and reading.
Jacob Susla
DVM
Education: Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, 1999
Dr Susla is married with two kids. In his free time, he enjoys sports (watching his children play, listening to sports radio, attending events, and participating).
Karen Espino
DVM
Education: Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, 2018
Dr. Espino is originally from Puerto Rico and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. As a small animal veterinarian, she has a particular interest in surgery and dermatology and enjoys managing a variety of medical and surgical cases to improve the health and quality of life of her patients. Growing up surrounded by animals sparked her passion for veterinary medicine at an early age and inspired her lifelong commitment to their care and well-being. As a bilingual veterinarian fluent in both English and Spanish, she strives to build strong relationships with clients and provide compassionate, personalized care to pets and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, shopping, visiting Disney parks, and exploring new experiences. She also shares her home with two dogs, who continually reinforce her appreciation for the special bond between people and their pets.
